By Extremely Hot Chips (Won multiple NSBA World Championships and is the leading money winner of all time for AQHA Stallions)

Out of a Zippos Shiek Daughter (Zippo Sheik: Siring Congress and World Champions, and foals earning over $370,000)

Accomplishments: 55 AQHA Points, 350+ PtHA Points, 6 ROMS, & 82 Wins!

If you are looking for one that is reliable, safe, and fun show - this gelding is for you! … and Yes his name is “Johnny” :) … although I feel Eeyore would have been more fitting to his personality (less him not being grey in color, nor having floppy ears lol) He doesn’t want to go anywhere fast and has a laid back go with the flow temperament.

Johnny has been an impeccable youth horse most of his career and he did his job keeping them safe and providing great show pen experiences. He settles into new places like he has been there a million years, loads up easily, hauls quietly alone or with others, and he will stand quietly in cross ties for hours of pampering. He is truly the type of horse mom’s hunt for when shopping for their kiddos as he puts up with all of their wild shenanigans, ideas, and totes them around like precious cargo. His ideal fit is a rider age 8-99 (any younger and the kiddo just doesn’t have long enough legs to keep him moving). He is the type of horse that you can feel confident dropping your kid off to the barn for them to ride giving you extra time to run some extra errands.

He is proven in the show pen with 55 AQHA points and 6 PtHA ROMS (Over 350 Points; and 82 Wins). In the pen, Johnny has strengths in the showmanship, eq, western pleasure, & hms. He is really consistent with his head/neck placement and has the basic leg/foot buttons to steer, shape, and rate. He is very reliable in his set up for showmanship, just about feels automatic and his pivot is spot on every time. No need to lunge before you ride as he has that old soul temperament, although you can if you really want to. Under saddle, he is naturally geared for the western events with a nice jog and slow lope, but don’t let his laid back temperament fool you as he can lay down a really sharp HMS, EQ, & Trail Pattern.

No Vices. He clips super well without a twitch (ears included). He does wear plain steel shoes on his front feet to protect from stone chips while showing (they can come off in the winter time if desired). The only maintenance he has done is his hocks once per year before show season. He is used to daily turnout, but also does well in a stalled setting too - he is pretty flexible.
